About these terms
MugCorner is run by T-Leng Tuition (UEN 53533541E), a sole proprietorship registered in Singapore. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our privacy notice. If you are under 13, a parent or guardian must agree for you.
Your account
- Give a real email address you can check, so you can confirm your account and reset your password.
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- One account per person. Don't share accounts or make extra ones to climb leaderboards.
Fair play
Please don't:
- choose a nickname that is rude, hurtful, or reveals your real name or school;
- try to break, overload, or get around the website's security, or look at other students' data;
- use scripts, bots or answer apps to rack up points;
- copy MugCorner's questions or notes to sell or publish elsewhere.
We may reset scores, change nicknames, or close accounts that break these rules.
Uploading notes
When note uploads arrive, anything you upload stays private to you. Only upload notes you're allowed to keep a copy of. Your school's worksheets belong to your school, so don't share them publicly.
Our content
The questions, hints, worked solutions and notes on MugCorner belong to T-Leng Tuition. You can use them for your own study. Every answer is checked, but mistakes can still slip through. If you spot one, email tlengeng@mugcornersg.com.
MugCorner helps you practise. It doesn't replace your school lessons, and we can't promise any particular exam grade.
Changes and availability
We're still building MugCorner, so features may change, and the site may sometimes be down for updates. If we change these terms in an important way, we'll tell you when you next log in.
Plans and payments
- Free and Plus. MugCorner has a Free plan and a paid plan, MugCorner Plus. What each includes and the current prices are shown on the Plan page (account menu → Plan). Prices are in Singapore dollars. We are not registered for GST, so no GST is added.
- Free trial. New students may get a 7-day trial of Plus. No payment details are needed, and it ends by itself; you won't be charged.
- Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the end of each period, using the saved payment method, until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Plan → Manage billing; Plus then stays on until the end of the period you have paid for.
- A season pass is one payment for 3 months of Plus. It doesn't renew.
- Refunds. If you're not happy, contact us within 7 days of your first payment for a plan or season pass and we'll refund it in full. After that, payments aren't refunded for part of a period, except where the law requires it or where we couldn't provide the service.
- Students under 18 should have a parent or guardian make or approve the payment. A student can send a parent a payment link from the Plan page.
- Tutor plan. Tutors can pay for Plus for their linked students, per student, per month, for at least 2 students. It is for tutors and the students they teach; parents should use a Plus plan. A student keeps that Plus while the tutor's plan is active, the tutor gives them a place on it, and they stay linked. Changes to the number of students are charged or credited for the part of the month left.
- Students of T-Leng Tuition who are linked to a T-Leng Tuition tutor get Plus at no cost while they stay linked.
- Price changes. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to a renewal, so you can cancel first if you wish.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store card details.
Closing your account
You can stop using MugCorner at any time. Cancel any paid plan first (Plan → Manage billing). Email tlengeng@mugcornersg.com to have your account and data deleted.
The legal bit
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
